The Journal
The inaugural issue invites you to explore the role of public policy in an era of polarization.
Submission Types:
Research Papers: 1,800–3,000 words
Policy Briefs: 1,000–1,800 words
Notes for Authors:
Submissions undergo a blind peer-review process.
Authors should remove identifying information before submission.
Accepted authors will work with assigned editors following acceptance.
The Schar Column (Web Publication)
Our online publication, The Schar Column, accepts submissions on a rolling basis. Submissions may include opinion pieces, commentaries, book or policy reviews, and other short articles that engage with contemporary policy issues. The submission types listed above are examples of what we accept for online publication but are not limited to these categories. Submissions will be reviewed as they are received.
Notes for Authors:

This submission type does not undergo blind peer review. Authors’ names may appear on the manuscript.
The editorial team reserves the right to make final decisions on publication.
Submissions for The Schar Column should generally not exceed 1,200 words, unless otherwise approved by the editorial team.
